👩🏻‍🍳 Recipe FAQs

What are good garnishes for a watermelon mimosa?

Mint leaves, twisted orange rind, and small cut of watermelon with the rind all make beautiful garnishes that add complementary aromas and flavors to the cocktail.

Can We make this ahead of time?

You can make the drink base (blended watermelon, lime juice, sugar) ahead of time, and then refrigerate and add the Champagne simply before serving.

Any cocktail with Champagne is best served immediately after it is made. That way, you can enjoy the bubbles and fiz of the Champagne (or sparkling wine) with the freshness of the fruit. If you make this ahead of time, the Champagne will likely lose its signature fresh bubbles.
