While We love traveling, We have to admit that We've never considered myself a "cruise" person. We realize there's a whole cruise culture out there, and We am about to get a taste of it!
Three more sleeps before the flight to NJ. Four more sleeps before We board the Royal Caribbean's newest and most technologically advanced cruise ship, Anthem of the Seas for the pre-inaugural media sail.
We AM SO EXCITED!
Here's a sneak peek: Anthem of the Seas began her inaugural sail from Southampton, U.K., earlier this spring. She makes her way into her permanent home of Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New York Harbor this week, and will be starting regular trips to the Caribbean starting next week.
During our pre-inaugural media sail, there are so many exciting features We can't wait to check out. We most look forward to:
The RipCord by iFLY sky diving experience
Dining at American Icon, one of a bajillion dining experience on board. We exaggerate the numbers, but only slightly.
An awesome cocktail making session and checking out The Bionic Bar, with robotic bartenders, throughout which We will be singing silently in the head "Hand me the bourbon-o, Mr. Roboto…"
North Star, a glass observation capsule that takes guests more than 300 feet above the ocean.
The many pool and lounge areas.
Climbing this rock wall with Gigi the Giraffe watching over me. 
And, with a million work deadlines still to meet, you bet We will be testing out the ship's reported superfast wireless connectivity. Anthem of the Seas is supposed to be the most technologically advanced cruise ship in the entire line of Royal Caribbean ships.
