Ingredient Notes for Your Antipasto Wreath

Ingredients to make antipasto Christmas wreath appetizer

Here’s a breakdown of the key ingredients you’ll need to create this delectable Antipasto Christmas Wreath:

  • Mozzarella: We recommend using small mozzarella balls, often found in tubs in the deli section of your grocery store (usually 6 to 9 ounces). If you can’t find the balls, you can slice your own mozzarella into bite-sized pieces.
  • Salami: Choose your favorite salami slices. Fold them in halves or quarters before adding them to the skewers for a more manageable bite.
  • Olives: We love the pop of color and flavor that green olives provide, but you can use any olives you prefer, such as black olives, Kalamata olives, or stuffed olives.
  • Tomatoes: Small cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes work perfectly for this appetizer. Their sweetness complements the savory flavors of the other ingredients.
  • Olive Oil Marinade: A simple marinade of extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt, and ground black pepper adds depth of flavor and helps to keep the ingredients fresh and vibrant.
  • Rosemary: Fresh rosemary sprigs are essential for creating the wreath effect and adding a touch of aromatic fragrance to the dish.
