The Alpine Coaster: A Must-Try Adventure

While we thoroughly enjoyed the Alpine Slides, the activity that I was most excited about, and my son was initially most nervous about, was the Alpine Coaster. This unique attraction combines the thrill of a roller coaster with the stunning scenery of a mountain descent.

The Alpine Coaster offers an unforgettable experience.

You can ride solo or, depending on your child’s height, you can ride together. My son was tall enough to ride alone, but we decided that experiencing the Alpine Coaster together for the first time would be more fun. After a brief 15-minute wait (lines can be longer on busier days), we listened carefully to the safety instructions provided by the staff and began our ascent up the mountain.

The ascent to the top of the Alpine Coaster offers breathtaking views.

For what felt like an eternity but was probably only 5-10 minutes, we sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed the panoramic views as the coaster slowly carried us up the mountain tracks. Similar to a traditional roller coaster, we were securely buckled in with seatbelts. The front passenger had a guardrail to hold onto, while the backseat passenger controlled the speed and brakes.

Upon reaching the summit, our vehicle began its descent, winding down the mountain in a series of exhilarating loops at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. The feeling of gliding through the air while surrounded by breathtaking scenery was truly unforgettable.

I won’t lie – some of the corners were quite intense! During the first turn, we both felt as if the coaster was about to jump off the track! But, of course, it didn’t, and we safely navigated the rest of the Alpine Coaster.

The descent on the Alpine Coaster is an adrenaline-pumping experience.

The Alpine Coaster is an absolute must-try for roller coaster enthusiasts. The views are simply unparalleled. While I haven’t been on many roller coasters, I can confidently say that this one offers the BEST views I’ve ever experienced.
