Located amidst the rolling hills of the Applegate Valley, near Grants Pass, Oregon, lies the magnificent 56-acre Wooldridge Creek Vineyard. The winery benefits from the unique microclimate of the Applegate Valley, contributing to the distinctive character of its wines.

The journey began in 1978 when Ted and Mary Warrick established Wooldridge Creek Vineyard, at a time when the Oregon wine industry was still in its early stages. For two decades, they primarily supplied their grapes to other wineries throughout Oregon, while also producing small batches of wine under their own label, laying the groundwork for what would become Wooldridge Creek Winery.

In 2002, Greg Paneitz and Kara Olmo, driven by their passion for winemaking, discovered the vineyard while exploring opportunities in the region. This encounter led to a partnership with the Warricks, resulting in the establishment of Wooldridge Creek Winery. Their combined expertise and vision have propelled the winery to new heights.

Today, Wooldridge Creek Winery proudly produces approximately 5,000 cases of wine annually, a testament to their dedication to quality and the growing recognition of Applegate Valley wines. In 2015, the owners of Wooldridge Creek Winery launched CrushPad Creamery, becoming Oregon’s first winery and creamery combination. This innovative venture allows visitors to experience the perfect pairing of wine and cheese, all in one location.

All of the cheeses crafted at CrushPad Creamery are carefully designed to complement the wines of Wooldridge Creek Winery. Kara often incorporates ingredients from her garden into the cheeses, adding a unique and seasonal touch.

The operation has expanded to include house-made charcuterie, further enhancing the tasting experience.
