Luxurious Rooms and Suites: Your Home Away From Home

While Brasada Ranch offers traditional hotel-style suites, the majority of accommodations consist of stand-alone cabins, providing the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. These aren’t just cabins; they’re fully equipped vacation homes designed to enhance your stay.

Each “cabin” features a full kitchen, allowing you to prepare meals and snacks at your convenience. Choose from two to four bedrooms, ensuring ample space for families and groups. Enjoy the comforts of home with all the amenities of a luxury resort.

Our cabin featured three bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and direct access to an outdoor deck. Two of the rooms also included mini-fridges and microwaves, providing added convenience and flexibility.

Traveling with a furry friend? Brasada Ranch offers several dog-friendly cabins, allowing you to bring your beloved pet along for the adventure. We opted for a dog-friendly cabin and brought our pup, Ace, with us.

Ace thoroughly enjoyed his time at Brasada Ranch, basking in the desert sun on the back deck and curiously watching the local rabbits hop by. The dog-friendly accommodations ensured that everyone in the family, including our four-legged member, had a memorable vacation.

Each cabin also comes with a relaxing hot tub, providing the perfect way to unwind under the clear Central Oregon sky after a day of resort activities. Soak away your stress and enjoy the tranquility of the desert landscape.

Culinary Delights: Dining Options at Brasada Ranch

Brasada Ranch offers two on-site restaurants: the Ranch House and the Range restaurant. Both offer diverse menus featuring steaks, pizza, pasta, salads, and seafood. A kids’ menu is also available, with classic favorites like chicken tenders and burgers.

During our stay, we sampled a variety of dishes, including the filet mignon and the rib eye with onion rings. Both steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and served in generous portions.

Our daughter enjoyed the vegetarian pizza, which featured broccolini, kale, and a creamy white sauce. She gave it a glowing review, and the portion size was substantial enough to take half of it back to our cabin for a later snack.

If you’re a breakfast enthusiast, Brasada Ranch has you covered with a bountiful brunch menu. Choose from a ranch omelette with sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and cheddar to breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, sandwiches, and more. Our son opted for the Farmer’s Breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, and potatoes.

With a full kitchen in every cabin, you can also prepare your own meals. The on-site General Store offers morning coffee and a variety of groceries to stock your refrigerator. You’ll also find ready-to-go meals for added convenience.

Brasada Ranch also offers Ranch Platters, allowing you to enjoy a restaurant-style meal in the comfort of your own cabin.

Endless Amenities: Activities for Everyone at Brasada Ranch

At Brasada Ranch, boredom is simply not an option. The list of activities is impressive, and we tried to pack as many as possible into our three-day stay. From swimming to hiking to horseback riding, there’s an activity for everyone.

Pools

The on-site pools are among the most popular amenities. The largest pool area is the Sundance Pool, which features a waterslide and is located near the athletic center. This family-friendly pool includes a lazy river, ample beach chairs, and a convenient poolside bar where you can order food and drinks.

An adults-only (21+) pool is also available nearby, featuring lawn games, live music, and its own food and drink stations.

Hiking

The desert setting of Brasada Ranch makes it an ideal location for hiking. During our Labor Day weekend stay, they offered an early morning hike to nearby Spirit Rock, which included a sound bath, meditation, and yoga session. It was the perfect way to start the day, and the sounds of the desert birds added a special element.

We also explored the trails on our own with Ace, enjoying the stunning scenery and wildlife. While the trails are people- and dog-friendly, it’s best to keep your pups on a leash to ensure their safety and to protect the local environment.

Horseback Riding

If you prefer to explore the desert on horseback, Brasada Ranch offers over 1,800 acres of trail riding. Group rides are available for all skill levels, from beginner to expert, for riders ages eight and older.

Younger riders (ages five and up) can meet the on-site ponies and enjoy 15-minute rides in a safe, enclosed pen.

Fitness Center

Fitness enthusiasts don’t need to worry about missing a workout. The full-service fitness center features treadmills, bikes, free weights, and more, providing everything you need for a great workout. It’s one of the best-equipped resort gyms we’ve encountered. Complimentary towels and water are provided for your convenience.

Brasada Ranch offers much more, including golf, archery, spa packages, and seasonal events. During our visit, there was a small rodeo and a pop-up ax-throwing event. The challenge is figuring out how to fit everything into your stay!

If you venture off Brasada Ranch, Bend is only 30 minutes away with world-class shopping, entertainment, and food. Nearby outdoor attractions abound.

Smith Rock State Park

Smith Rock is about a 30-minute drive away. It features breathtaking views and world-class hiking and climbing along the Crooked River.

Mt. Bachelor

Skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of one of the best resorts in the country at Mt. Bachelor. It features over 100 runs and 50 kilometers of cross-country trails. In summer, enjoy mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, and scenic chairlift rides.

Mountain Biking

While Brasada Ranch offers bike rentals, trails in Bend offer many options for mountain bikers. Rent equipment from Bend bike shops if you don’t have your own gear.

Fly Fishing

Spend a day fishing for trout in the Crooked, Deschutes, and Metolius Rivers. Or head to nearby lakes for trout and bass. Ask at Brasada Ranch about professionally guided fishing excursions.
