The 2016 Mazda 6 is a beautiful midsize car with a nice combination of safety features, comfort and even a little style swagger for modern families. Check out the 2016 Mazda 6 Review.

2016 Mazda 6 review on urbanblisslife.com

This is the 2016 Mazda 6. She's beautiful, isn't she? Available in eight head-turning exterior colors that are some of the coolest exterior paint colors for today's models, in the opinion. J.D. Power and Associates lists the Mazda 6 as having the "Highest Ranked Vehicle Appeal among Midsize Cars, Two Years in a Row."

More than simply a pretty exterior, the 2016 Mazda 6 has power, safety, and comfort. With 184 Horsepower, it gets up to 40 MPG on the highway and up to 28 in the city. That's up to 4 MPG more than its leading competitors.

The Mazda 6 body is sleek without being showy. If you truly want a little added show, you can get a rear decklid spoiler for extra style.

Exterior design features that combine form plus function include:

  • Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS)
  • Power sliding-glass moonroof with one-touch-open feature and interior sunshade
  • LED headlights with adaptive response
  • Rain-sensing windshield wipersHeated side mirrors with auto-dimming driver's side

Interior

2016 Mazda6 car review on UrbanBlissLife.com

Kudos to the team who worked on the interior design work on the Mazda 6. It is comfortable for the entire family, and We love all of the little design touches like the smooth logo etching in the side door panels. The interior trim is smooth and luxurious.

2016 Mazda 6 review: interior

As a shorter driver, We loved the 8-way power driver's seat with power adjustable lumbar support. We also loved the dual-zone automatic climate control with pollen filter.

The 7.0″ full-color touch-screen display with rear camera had a super clear view. We didn't get a chance to try out the SMS text message audio delivery and reply but We love that the Mazda 6 has this feature. And as a mom of a kid who frequently asks to turn up the music when her fave songs come on, We could definitely tell the difference in sound with the Bose surround sound system with 11 powerful speakers.

The kids had plenty of space in the backseat for their growing legs, backpacks, and more.

2016 Mazda 6 review: trunk

The trunk is quite spacious for a midsize sedan. Plenty of room for road trip luggage, sports equipment, and more.

Safety

The Mazda6 received the highest Superior rating for its front crash prevention from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). It comes with many standard safety features, including Antilock Brake System (ABS), Advanced front air bags and front side-impact airbags, and side-impact air curtains. It also offers features that are common in newer model vehicles, including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. It also has a few features that are fairly new for midsize sedans.

The Smart City Brake Support is great for city drivers and those who commute into the city regularly. When driving between 3 to 18 MPH, the system automatically applies the brakes if it determines that a collision with an obstruction ahead is unavoidable.

The base model Mazda 6 starts at $21,495. Named as one of Car and Driver‘s 10 Best vehicles of 2015, We can see why this would be an excellent car for families with kids of any age.
